(1 or 4 ohm loads) That Sony amp is not 1 ohm stable and at 4 ohms, your looking at 250 Wrms net to subs. (125 w/sub) Also, note the warrantee plan offered by this site: "Due to a change in the manufacturers policy, Etronics can no longer accept this Sony product as a return once it has been opened and/or removed from it's package. In the event it is defective it must be sent directly to any one of Sony's numerous nationwide facilities for Repair or replacement under warranty!" That means... if you get a dud or damage the amp, it will be tied up in a Sony repair shop for several weeks. Sony is not the most consumer friendly maker around. They sell/service so many other products, it's hard to get decent support. If you would like to use an amp that is pretty solid, consider HiFonics Class D amps. The Zeb has one that will meet your needs. http://www.thezeb.com/p-Hifonics-NX750D-Mono-Subwoofer-Amplifier-101732.htm $199.00 Swez Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
