What are you looking for SPL? Or SQ uochronos on 02/22/2005 00:59:16 ya you can run 200watts to them keep the gain set right and no boosts on and this cant be a permanant thing they well need a proper amp soon... but till then as long as theya re moving enough to cool themselves they well be fine. Chronos Faded on 02/22/2005 01:17:04 i have two audiobahn tens in a ported box the amp i had was a pyramid 1800wt 4ch amp and i dont know why it died all of a sudden my subs stoped playing i look back there and my amp is smoking and i cant get it to come on anymore it was a pyramid so i knew the death of it was coming soon and my box is tuned to 40hz so im going for spl its LOUD when i have a good amp to em compvr15s on 02/22/2005 11:10:12 what was the power handling on the subs , bahn has so many different lines, some with moderate handling and some with extreme handling, id image they are probably around 300 watts rms, id say go with a jbl bp 600.1. stable at 1or2 ohms @600 watts, pluss it will ruin much cooler and cause less power strain since its about 90% effecient. if the subs require more they also make the 1200.1 series, probably need a power plant upgrade for this, these amps are an awesome bang for the buck buy, not very pretty but when did cosmetics ever count in good quality gear? good luck Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
