What I'm thinking of doing is building an enclosure that will sit right on the floor on the raised (1 1/2") "hump" right between the driver and passenger. The space I have is 20"D X 9"W X 10"H. I am thinking something mid-bass to complete my front stage.I also plan to drop that Bahn Line driver/EQ right down into the enclosure as well on a 30 degree angle facing up.I can fabricate an angle spacer for speakers on sides of enclosure for better imaging so they will point up towards driver on one side and passenger on the other. Will plan on covering w/ same burgandy cut pile carpeting as in the car(maybe integrate a couple of cup holders into it as well). If you check that amp link it may give you some ideas on wiring possibilities. Any suggestions as far as enclosure?,speakers?,wiring? maybe adding a third small mono amp?or anything else.I know this post is long ,but better to give more info than not enough. Thanks, my hands are pretty tired now. Tego Replies (1) uochronos on 02/22/2005 00:16:08 for adding mid range/mid bass to the front Adire makes soem killer 6 and 8" midbass speakers for very reasonable... as does CDT. very nice set up so far you have going Chronos Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
