if they are working for you and you dont get any interferance then the ones you have are fine...

in systems with multiple amps and EQ's, crossovers, etc it becomes moren important to have noise rejecting RCA's but if your not getting any noise picked up in your current RCA's then dont fix a problem that isnt broken.

i have bouhht several pairs of shielded radio shack brand RCA's though they are about half the cost of the cheapest ones sold at the local car audio shop but work great.

Theres a couple things about RCAs for H/U to Amplifier connections.

First, it is always best to get a "Double Shielded" or "Triple Shielded" cable, meaning that the connectors sheild any stray radio interferences.

Second, simply choose the length you need, and it is a very good choice if you find a good sheilded RCA cable with a molded in Remote lead wire for the amp.

Here is a link where you can get a very good set for under 10$. I own a set, they work wonderfully.

Of course, if you already have good Monster RCA cables, no need for new ones.

If it helps, RCA cable doesn't really have a great deal of measurable effect on your system. The electronic equipment will have more of an impact. You're only passing ~1-5volts of power, so there isn't much to be concerned about with cable.

Main things to look for are that it's the proper length, not frayed, and not damaged in any way. A lot of cable companies like Esoteric, Monster try to sell everybody on the cable and its 'noise rejection' quality. Those in the know realize that it's usually the electronic equipment that picks up the noise and not the cable.

Just go down to Radio Shack, find the correct lengths, and don't worry about it. Spend your money on quality amplifiers, etc. and make certain you get a higher signal voltage from your headunit into the amplifier. 4V is adequate, or 4V+ when using either a line driver or EQ/crossover.
