(Note: You shouldnt "find" a sub to fit the enclosure, you should build the enclosure to suit the sub but if you have no choice, then we'll work with it). MTX is "ok" for the price, So is Audiobahn but their not known for SQ. Just my 2cents. Whats your price range here? Do you have your heart set on a dual setup? Id reccomend going with a Adire Shiva (their 12"), their awesome for the price and they maintain excellent SQ from what ive heard. Alpine makes some good ones id say type R's among many other different brands that provide excellent Sq and Punchy bass. It really comes down to how much power and money you have available. uochronos on 02/16/2005 03:00:06 with 350watts if your set on a set i would say 2 type S alpines.... they are 200watts rms so you would be close match amp and subs and they well work with 1.5 cubic feet sealed likly. Cronos swez on 02/16/2005 03:04:03 Consider the Alpine SWR or SWS series. The SWS-1022D is a bit cheaper and will work in that size enclosure. Power handling is 300 RMS per sub. No problem there. That enclosure is a tad smaller than the optimum sealed of 1.0 cf/sub. But, you are above the compact sub enclosure range of 0.65 cf/sub. That means tight lower MB and decent low bass. As PL mentioned, you'll have ~1.6 cf internal for both subs or 0.8 cf/sub. Using a heathy dose of poly fill, will help bring up the low end bass a bit too. Also, these are 2+2 DVC's. When wired in series/parallel configuration, you'll hit the 2 ohm net load target for that amp. Hope that helps, Swez montego_27 on 02/16/2005 06:30:34 What do you guys think of these: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-ONCOjmmUskc/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=67600&I=500SWR1021 Won't get them through Crutchfield though, too pricey there.
