This I found on Pioneer's website. I didn't copy the link, sorry. It's model number TS-SW124D. It's a 12" sub that is supposed to only require 4 inches total mounting depth.
The sideways view makes it look like a shallow salad bowl.

i have heard them they sound good for what it is... not an amazing sub but if i had a really small area i would consider it... they lose alot of SQ at higher SPL though.

yeah i heard one at a local shop that carries a lot of pioneer. they don't sound too bad. great for single cab trucks and so forth.
