Hey hows it going?
I am currently in the process of upgrading my HU. I have found a used Alpine 9831 for $300 CDN with a small crack (no larger than 1/4") on the bottom right of the faceplate. Or I can buy a brand new Alpine 9830 for 369+tax CND with full warranty etc.
Do you think it would be worth saving about $100 on the CDA-9831 with the small crack in it (it supposdly works fine, been checked where he bought it, he also has it it writting from the shop)?
Or would you get the CDA-9830 for about $100 more and get the benifits of warranties etc.
Features that I am looking for are CD/MP3/WMA, crossovers, sub control, parametric eq would also be nice and 4v preout.
So what would you do if you presented with these two options?

Umm nevermind about that question... lol I just called another shop where my g/f lives and they are going to sell the 9830 for $329 CDN! So I think that is what I going to go with plus its new and not cracked lol and I get factory warranty etc.
