My latest purchases off of eBay just arrived.
2- 10" Bazooka subs (EL 1004)
2- Bazooka 2 ch amps (ELA 100.2)
1- Bazooka 4 ch amp (EL 460)
Both subs and 1 of the amps were still in the factory boxes with all of the original paperwork. The other 2 amps look brand new and everything still has the unbroken warranty seals. $234 total cost (including s/h). I'm a happy camper.
All I need now is some component speakers and I'll be good to go.

Good job buddy. I got my whole system on Ebay for 360$. Gotta love it. Hope you enjoy the Bazooks, i like the modest bass that they put out, and good luck finding some speakers.

good job, never hurts to hunt eh? as for components id recomend gettin a good set since these will be what you hear the most, ampin comps really brings them to life too. what is your price range here? can find great sets for 75-150 bucks, i mean top notch comps, with msrp of 300 or more, just search ebay find some your interested in and post them back under this thread. and we can help direct you in a better direction.

Do you have to go w/ a 3 1/2" up front? That's what's called for in that car.

The Aries is finished. All of this stuff is going in a '61 impala. The only limit I have on front speakers and rear fill is my "cheapness". I'm going to have to do some heavy duty searching to find what I want, at a price I'm willing to pay. LOL

Alright! A classic car install! And a Chevy too. I love it!
My all time personal favorite car to do an install in would be either a 67 - 72 Chevelle. That would rock hard!
Hope you got a big beefy engine to back up that system out on the road! Muscle cars rock!

I'm planning on running a dedicated alternator for the system in the '61.
