Sound environment size

Let me ask you guys one more question concerning speakers in a house.

A car's listening environment is a lot smaller than a house. My pool room is 13' wide and 16.5' long. 7' ceilings. Is four 6.5's or 6x9's in a 0.3 cu. ft. enclosure going to be good enough with just a deck's power? I'd kinda like it to still sound like it does in a car with it having good midbass response at least, even if I can't get low bass. Do you think adding a amp for all for speakers would assure me of that?

I heard once that car speaker were made specifically for the environment that they were going to be in. I don't mean more weather resistant, I mean sound wise. But the only thing I can think of they could change to make it this way would be the voice coil for frequency response and wattage handling. Maybe overall size and shape, but as far as I know, a 6.5 is a 6.5 is a 6.5. Just cone material and voice coil would possibly be different. I'm sure the T/S parameters would affect this, but I don't think they list those for car speakers do they, other than subs?

you can always add an amp, as long as your power source will supply the necessary current needed.
