Hi guys, a kid I know had his 9815 stolen awhile ago and bought the 9833. A few months or so ago he told me if i was ever gonna sell my 9815 to talk to him first. As you might already know i plan on getting the Alpiine IVA-D300 sumtime this summer. I told him that i would sell it to him for around $300 in summer. He said ok then told me I'll give you $250 now and my 9833 for the 9815. I told him hes loosing money on that deal but he said i kno so i called him back later sayin i would take his offer.
My ? is this. Would the harness that plugs into the back of the cd players work on either one? SO my 9815 harness will plug into his 9833 and vic versa? That would just save us time so we dont have to discount each wire and stuff. Thanks

yeah it should be the same harness, it's a small, white harness with all the regular wires plus a pink and i believe orange wire.

It worked even though when I called Alpine tech. support and the guy said it wouldnt. I hooked the HU up last night and its a pretty nice HU. A little different desigen from the 9815 but all the same features.

lol.. i wud get into that deal anyday.. hehe.. if i get a 9833 in mint condition against my 9815 i wud just exchange it..lol.. and here the kids ready to pay u money along with the exchange...wow..
