OK this happened to me yesterday i drove all the way to work with the stereo up high got to work and just before i got there i started hearing this crackling sound out of one of the speakers so i turn the sub off and its still there i faded to the driver side and it went away and then faded to the passenger side and there it was...
well thats not the wierd part i get out i check all the connections and then turn it on again and its still there... so i go into work come out that night and it all sounds fine again...
i have a set of CDR ef-61cf components... running off a phoenix gold 500.2 amp. gain is set correctly and boost is turned off. they play 90hz and above...
any ideas of what would cause this then just go away? not really a big deal since it went away but just curious what would cause this.
