Which amp?

Any opinions on which of the following would be the best choice to run 2- 10" subs (Bazooka EL 1004)? Here are the choices, all Bazooka brand:
ELA300.1
ELA100.2
EL2100

1 amp for each sub.

ELA 300.1 = 200 Wrms @ 4 ohms... not a bad match to that sub noted

ELA 100.2 = 330 Wrms @ 4 ohms, bridged. That will fly too.

ELA 2100: Cannot find any details on that one

ELA 500.1: This is a very good fit for those 2 subs in parallel. Is 500 Wrms @ 2 ohms, 14.4 volts

The ELA 100.2 specs say 115w x 2 @ 4ohm/ 330w x 1 @ 4ohm. Does this sound correct? Getting an "extra" 100w just by bridging the channels?

I've been doing some reading at the SAS/Bazooka site. One of their tech/R&D guys stated the the ONLY EL series amps that are 2ohm stable are the 300.1 & 500.1.

There seems to be a LOT of conflicting info on their products, i.e.- actual RMS power vs. advertised power, specs that give a power @ 2ohms when the amp isn't 2ohm stable (That seems to be where most of the overheating issues with this series of amps originates. People running these amps at 2ohms and overheating them).

But, since I'm going to be running tham at 4ohm, and I'm not ever going to max them out on power, I'll probably go with the ELA 100.2's, which are the "updated" version of the EL2100.

Yep, I looked the others up and you have 2 very good options here:

1. A pair of EL100.2's in bridged mode, one amp per sub = 330 Wrms @ 4 ohms.

A bit more power than your subs are rated for, but if you set you gains properly, the subs will probably like the extra dynamic headroom available. Minimal or no clipping here.

2. A single EL 500.1 is also a good option for these subs. This is a monoblock, Class D sub amp. It delivers ~500 Wrms @ 2 ohms and a very good power match for the subs you mentioned.

Only need one of these (500.1) and the overall SPL differences are going to be minimal as well as install time and costs as well. (extra wiring, power drain and ease of use, as compaired to a pair of 100.2's and that 4 channel amp you also mentioned.
