My Pioneer DEH-15 CD receiver just arrived today, i bought it off E-bay used & refurbished. Hooked it up, powered on and played CDs. When i unhooked it and brought it back inside, i went to take the face plate off........WOULDNT BUDGE!......all you do is press the button and its supposed to detach from the body, but not this H/U! I am totally clueless here...i tried lifting from every angle with the button depressed, but still nothing...it's like someone glued it to the deck!
Possibilities? Suggestions? Comments suggesting my retardedness? THINK

see if there is an incredibly tiny screw preventing the detach button from pressing all the way. it is VERY small.

That tiny screw is nowhere to be found, i am sure that the button is going in all the way b/c i hear the normal "click" noise. Weird thing is, when i yank on the face plate with the button in, it immediately pops back out......I......AM.......LOST.....

UK, you're a genius. Remember the TINY screw you were telling me about? There was two of them, just not in your prescribed spot. There was one on each side of the face going thru the casing then into the face plate for when you dont want to take the thing off! Once out, the detach button worked wonderfully and it detached like normal! Well, sad to admit...it was kind of a no-brainer problem, but i couldnt have done it without ya!
