Starting my new system up

1. - My Question/Concern is in regard to the new system i'm getting gathered up.
-I have an Audiobahn AW1206T subwoofer.
-Pushed by my Coustic 801DB amp @2 ohms for 800 watts.
-I (unfortunately) bought a pre-fab box, slot ported and tuned to 36 Hz with 1.8 cu. ft of space... Seemed like a good idea at the time.

2.- I have no prior experience with polyfill, and i'm curious whether you guys would recommend me putting polyfill in my box. What difference will it make? Do i need it?
- How loud in Db will this sub get with 800 watts? My uneducated guess would be 120-135DB?

3.- My H/U is a Boss Audio AVA2825R (not purchased yet!)
Two Pioneer TS-A6963 3-way 6x9" speakers & two Infinity Kappa series 32.5CF 3 1/2" 2-way speakers, all four of which i already have.

As you can see, i don't really have a single "favorite" brand but when it comes to subs i'm straight up ADDICTED to Bahn's subs, nothing compares, Period.

Thanks for your time and attention, hope my presentation makes your job easier.

That Bahn sub should be OK in that size box. Is withing ported specs range they recommend. (between compact and every day bass size)

Also, depends on the port available and it's tuning freq. You mentioned slot port, 36 Hz. Not a bad place to be if the port is accurate.

Fill material? I always use it to dampen the rear cone waves an cut down on resonances within the box. It also slows the rear cone waves a bit to make the box seem a bit larger than it is. (~10% larger). Figure about 1.5 - 2.0 inches thickness in sealed part of the box. (back, sides, top and bottom) None in port.

Nice job in your presentation of the details. We really appreciate that as it saves many additional posts.

PS 800 RMS in that box and sub combo... close to 140dB of SPL at vehicle resonance.... not bad!
