Sub-amp frequency response.

This page lists the specs for the PCX-1500. It says that the freq. resp. for this amp is 4.5-100 k. I guess I'm just confused as to how a mono-block amplifier geared towards driving subs is not capable of reproducing anything less than 4.5 kHz. Do they mean 4.5 Hz-100kHz? Or, does freq. resp. mean something other than the range of freqencies the amp will respond to and ultimately reproduce?

Many thanks,

Pinch

They mean 4.5 Hz to 100kHz.

Although Directed did some things that I don't agree with, when they took over Precision Power, they're still good amps, in my opinion.

Cool. Thanks for clarifying Tray.
