Hi all, I have seen in the USA & Canada you have a huge range of training facilities for Car audio installations unfortunatley the UK doesn't seem to have any. Does anyone know of any training programs, distance learning or online that are available to the UK? I feel we are missing out !

i would suggest going to a couple shops that do installs and ask them if they know of any places in the UK that do training in car audio instalation etc. i'm sure somewhere there has to be a place.
as for a online or mail training i have not personaly heard of any. but one of the installers here may have.

ok.. i had inquired about the same thing a a few months back.. but since i am from India and I did not want to do a distant learning course.. cause i believe that what can be learnt with a personal touch can never be learnt by the way of books.. anyways.. heres the reply i got from them regarding my inquiry..
Hi Fenil,
Unfortunately we do not have the facility to take on 'full time' students. Our main intake of candidates come from the industry itself where most of the students are already employed.
The course is designed to be taken within a working environment. Furthermore, we are not in the position to offer advice or information on accommodation or Visa applications for entry into the UK.
As outlined in my previous email, we can supply the module as a correspondence course only.
Sorry for the confusion and if you wish to pursue the qualification in this way, please request an 'application for training' form from info@mecpuk.org.uk .
