I wanted to know if there is any 6 x 9 speaker that puts out alot of bass, And possibly looking for 2 6.5 round speakers also, My neon has 2 round and 2 6 x 9's, Thx USFLAG

well 6x9's put out alot of bass? yes they well the problem is they also put out alot of distotion at higher volumes they simply are not built for any SQ at all really. not to mention you are going to pay more for a good set of 6x9's then a good set of 6.5" speakers that well mount in the 6x9 location. and also give you cleaner bass performance...

If you're looking for bass...6x9s really aren't the speaker of your choice. Basically, a 6x9 is a 7.25 inch speaker. They were designed by car manufacturers to accomodate the limited space of back dashes and side panels in the 1960s. Unfortunately, the trend continued.
There are some 6x9s that'll take some good shots, top end Alpine (SPR-694), MA Audio's y2k series (may not have them anymore) and others that essentially cost a lot more ($199-225 a set). However, bass is really better coming out of a larger 'subwoofer' and not a midbass driver like this.

I would personally look for a good set of 6.5 coaxials, or if you want to dig deeper, there are a few companies that make 6" subwoofers. these make for excellent midbass or rear fill.
