How much does anyone know about Kole Audio products? I have looked at them, reviewed their specs etc., but know not any who own them to date?

hmm dont know if i would consider sony or audibahn amps to be reliable seen alot of both go bad in the first year...

also lets not forget

Phoenix Gold
JL audio

both companies make some of the best commonly avalible amps extremly durable versitile amps from both companies.

Great... Why not add those super performers to the list too... let this post be a buying refrence guide for power amplifiers..

lets provide a wide choice of amps to meet the taste and budget of all..

those of you who have experienced or heard good about othter products why dont you put those model numbers and brand names on the list so that its easier to members and visitors on the forum to pinpoint a product to buy..

Thanks in advance to all...Wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year.

as a former 'dealer...I think we should shrink the list to about 7 or 8 names. a lot of those are the same amp covered by 3 or 4 companies...Reliability-wise, I don't think there's more than 8 legitimate companies out there.

PowAc, MA, ABahn, Sony, Kole...I'd have to remove them from consideration. Granted, MA has some non-factory competition amps constructed for some DB Draggers, in real life, they are above average quality, and performance is slightly less than rated in most cases.

Kenwood, Alpine, venerable, but wouldn't put my stamp on them because cost per watt doesn't make sense. I like JL, Zapco, etc.--high quality, very reliable products, just not cost effective.

Crossfire
Memphis
DEI (PPI, ORION)
Earthquake
MMATS (little spendy but worth it if DB Draggin)
Phoenix Gold
Rockford BD
JBL/INFINITY
MTX

All of the above except MMATS make sense as daily drivers.

Diamond
Eclipse
JBL (how about that 6000watter? with the crown components?)
Concept (good experience from a retail point of view)
Harmon Kardon
Zapco
Macintosh

honorable mention:
Quantum audio - fairly new brand, very inexpensive ($129 dealer cost on a 1000.1) good solid internal components (Rubicon caps, gold stripe resistors [5%] with high reliablilty values.

Hummm, lots of great choices piling up in this post. Anyone care to consider Sound Stream?

Human Reign (only $3,000) 2 & 4 Channel models
Rubicon (older series)
Van Gogh
Tarantula
Angina
Edge Series
Extreme Series

Kinda pricey... but if you demand the best... it's all here.
