I would like some opinions on which of these two boxes is absolutely the better of the 2, which will produce the most bass with an Audiobahn AW1206T...

#1- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5740175584&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

#2- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5741450719&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

P.S. - I Dont care about price, just whichever is optimal for the lowest and deepest bass.

Thanks so much

both the boxes look similar in construction quality.

i will refer to them as New and Old.

The Old one boasts all about being made in the USA and not in CHINA...lol.. they say everything but forget to put in the port tuning frequency...hahahaha.... i would not trust that kind of a box..

you can go for the New one if you like..

But I would personally suggest building a box on your own .. as per the exact specs and dimensions given in this .pdf

http://audiobahn.com/tech/2004/boxParams/AW06T_box_specs.pdf

this will be a much better box. with much better strength and performance.. they have given you 3 choices.. namely.. space saving - everyday use - super spl..

Once again I would press on building a new box yourself.. investing time and hard work will pay you better off then investing money in a pre fab box..

The item #1 looks like a well designed and manufactured box. Tuned to 36 Hz., is good for most SPL/SQL sub applications. The dado joinery shown in the pics indicate strong mating surfaces, above average attention to detail and a well made box.

Item #2.... hummm, made in USA...OK, but all the negative bashing comments and lack of PTF info are disturbing to me. The 350% more than sealed comment seems rediculous to me. I can see a +5-6dB bump at PTF in this design, over a poorly made "sealed" box... but 350% more bass??? Come on... get a reality check here. Truth in advertising seems lacking a lot here. Wonder how they can prove that claim with a straight face?
