Problem solved.

Swez tells me you're the man when it comes to alarm info, so I would appreciate any help you could pass along.

I just recently added an alarm/RKE system to my 2000 Chit-Fil-A Blazer. Now comes the trouble.

The sensors work fine, and everything else is great, but unless I have the windows down, or the dome override button depressed, the power locks do not function with the unarming of the alarm.

The daytime running lights caused a bit of a problem, as it was only protecting the car during the day, but now I have that fixed. And the ACC power staying on after the ignition is shut off was a problem too, but got that figured out.

I've now racked my brain, and am stuck. I could really use some help. Thanks, and sorry for the novel.

Nevermind.

I bit the bullet, and disected everything, and got out the old multi-meter, and went to town.

Turns out that somehow the power lead was getting grounded halfway through the circuit, and unless power was being supplied by the window input, or the circuit for the dome light was broken, the lock/unlock leads would not send out a signal to the relays.

Well, I spent about an hour on the phone with the guys from support, and finally got an RMA authorization #, so I should have a working brain module back in a week or two.

Good detecctive work... did you find the point where the voltage in that line stopped ? Shorted wire on bare metal, pinched insulation or other?

Actually, it looks like a bad soldering job from the factory. I followed it through the circuit board, and the chip has voltage on the 7th and 18th pins, but nothing comes from there to the siren lead.
