I have a pioneer deck connected to a 4 cheanel amp thats powering 2X 6,9 pioneer 3 ways and pioneer 2X6" splits i havnt installed the splits into the door yet so they just sit there. yesterday when i was olaying music there was a loud bang out of all the speakers so i turned off the car and checked all the fuses and they were fine. so i tuned the car back on and all that comes out of the speakers is a high pitched squeel alot of bass and a little bit of music. Its possible that 1 of the spits magnet atracted a screw and shorted out the sysetem but i turned it off straght away so i dont think there would have been any dammage. Is it possible that the earth came off the deck and that did it [the deck still works fine] is it posssibe that somthing shorted onto the body and that caused it??? please help me Replies (2) ttocs on 12/17/2004 19:47:04 bang=bad.................... Sounds like you lost something in the amp. Smell it, does it smell burned? P0werLifter on 12/17/2004 20:32:59 A "Bang" is never good....I agree with ttocs here, check the amplifier, does it smell burnt? Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
