Hello. Need help with PPI A200 4ch amp please. I have searched the net for the specs of this amp and cannot find any. Basicly, I am wondering if this amp is bridgeable and if it is how do I bridge it. Im also assuming that this amp is 50x4 in stereo not sure though.Thank you. Ps: This is the artwork series amp. Replies (4) ttocs on 12/8/2004 20:54:20 part of the old art series? Nice amps. I did a google search on PPI A200 and found a few hits. From what I find it is 4ohm stable with 2 x 200watts. What speaker are you wanting to run? swez on 12/8/2004 21:18:38 Agreed, sounds like 4 x 50 Wrms @ 4 ohms, bridged is 200 x 2. An oldie but goodie. What do you wish to do here? Swez madman76 on 12/8/2004 23:59:49 well I have two 6x9 Absolute components in my 97 mustang the 6x9's say that they can handle 350 watts each. I have never heard of Absolute before my uncle gave em to me so I thought I would put em in. Well I put em in and to my suprise they sound good. At the momment, they are running of the front channel of the A200 and I was jsut wondering how would I go about bridging this amp to two channels so I can get 200 watts to each 6x9. Thank you for your time ttocs on 12/9/2004 02:21:31 V6 er V8? Thought the back of a mustang had mountings for a 5 x 7"? You should be able to bridge that amp to 2 channel mode on them with out any problems You will then learn the difference between a 15-20 watt deck amp and a good off board amp.
