Was curious if you have used sound deadening material other than Dyno-Mat and if so which ones are comparable Thanks,Mike USFLAG Replies (3) P0werLifter on 12/7/2004 01:33:53 Im sure there are many others here that can comment on that, not just kittle GRIN. Like myself per-say. Personally I use Brown Bread/ B-quiet extreme (www.b-quiet.com). This stuff works GREAT and is much cheaper than dynamat. Ive also used Edead fro elemental designs. Stuff works good also (www.edesignaudio.com). Check em out cplkittle on 12/7/2004 09:32:37 The store I work at does not carry anything other than dynamat, but looking at the basic makeup of the material, I am sure it is not hard to duplicate. I would feel confident using almost any brand of sound deadener as long as it was around 1/8 thick (dynamat extreme) I have dynamat in my car only because that is what we carry, I get a discount, and I can make payments on my purchases here. other than that, I think the name is overrated. ttocs on 12/8/2004 13:35:12 I have used brown bread as well and even the phoenix summers have not caused problems. There is supposed to be a roof liner that you can use as a substatute. Check ebay, they will send samples from what I understand. Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
