what's up guys,
sorry i haven't been around in a while. i have been very busy preparing for finals, and i just got that BMW a couple weeks ago and i have been working on it alot. just saying what's up.
as for the bimmer, I went ahead and put in my Pioneer AVIC-N1 head unit, and man does it rock. I just ordered two alpine MRD-M301 amps to power two alpine type-r 12's. i got some JL Audio VR components for the front, and i am powering them with a new alpine two channel amp, i forgot the model number.
this system should sound pretty clean when all is said and done. i got the components for dirt cheap, so i won't be using them for too long. i'd like to get some three-way components here in the near future. as always, i'm going for quality over loudness, but i do have the option for a little thump with the two 12's.
i guess my biggest problem is all of the components i have left over!! i have a boston G2 12, an alpine type-r 10, an alpine mrd-m300 amp, an alpine 4 channel amp, a kenwood 4 channel amp, an alpine 9827 HU, and a BMW cd changer. i have no clue what to do with all this leftover crap, but i'd like to hang on to some for future cars. any suggestions?? i know some of this is selling on e-bay, but i have never sold anything on there so whatever.

hey UK glad to see you around. selling on ebay is simple takes about 15-30minutes to list the first time and about half that after the first time. costs a small listing fee then a small fee when sold.. biggest issue is the buyers on most items i have never had a problem. but on car audio stuff you get alot of kids.... sold my alpine type r 10" subs in box awhile back and the guy never paid so i claimed a none paying bidder and got his phone number and gave him a call both him and his grandmother ripped me a new one for getting there phone number and "stalking" them. in the end it took me 2 months before i could relist the item because ebay doesnt want you relisting it till they know the first buyer did not want it. also had a problem with some speakers i sold for a friend. the guy decided after they got there he could get a better deal adn wanted his money back and that was a headache as well. i still sell on ebay but just a warning to the wise it can be a head ache.
