First of all, this is a nice amplifier. I hope you did notice that this particluar one is refurbished. Not that that is always a bad thing, just wanted to point that out.
Are the subs single or dual voice coil?
single voice coil configuration (parallel) 1.33 ohms
dual voice coil configuration (vc in series, then all three in parallel) 2.67ohms.

just want to point u out one thing.. this amp is not stable at 2ohms in bridged mode.. and it gives 600wrms in the bridged mode @4 ohms..

hence i wud not recommend using the amp with loads below 4ohms.. if there is adequate cooling you can pull it between 3ohms -4 ohms,, but at no cost below 3ohms ( yet i do not recommend this too)

and in both the cases wether the subs are 4ohms SVC or DVC you can get a load of 1.33 and 2.67 ohms.. i dont see much scope in this amp for 3 subs.. otherwise its a nice amp as cplkittle said..

comments..??

Hey.
I have a 79 ford escort currently running 2X Mbquart 6X9's of the Pioneer 5650 mp3 headdeck.
I have just purchased a 500W 10" pioneer subwoofer. The amp i have is one purchased of a friend, it comes with nothing in writing. It is and Avalanche AVA-4600 "Punk Series" 4X150 Watt amplifier. All i really wanna do is hook up the sub, the 6X9's are running alright off the head deck. I would appreciate if anyone had any info on the amplifier, because i'm really not sure what would go where and why! Any input appreciated.
thanks

Hummm, cannot find any info on that amp. What features are on this amp in terms of:

1. Fuse rating(s) ?
2. Filters (HP/LP?)
3. Input connections (RCA's, speaker line level or both?)
4. Power line input wire gage?
5. Sub model (# of voice coils... SVC or DVC?)

That HU is an Ausie version only right? It has a pair of RCA outputs. One set for the front speakers and a non-fading sub out. Depending on the sub model you have there, it may be used off the rear channels of this amp (bridged mode) from the rear channel (sub out) RCA's and the front channels can run front speakers.

Say more and we'll try to figure it out for you OK?
Swez
