I bought a bazzoka sub with a 5 chnannel amp built in, what is the easiest way to hook it up, I just want to run the back-speaker thru the amp and run the sub. thanks Replies (2) swez on 11/27/2004 13:49:51 This one? Bazooka Concert Series CS8A5 http://www.crutchfield.com/S-JywmrykMXFi/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=51000&I=204CS8A5&search=bazooka&wmsf=1 This system has speaker level inputs that you can tap off the rear speaker lines to feed the amp input section. It also has 25 x 4 full range speaker outputs and a 100 watt sub amp to drive the internal sub. This system has a 100 Hz (HP/LP) filter network, a subsonic filter and phase reversal switch. It looks like we have ~200 watts RMS output in all. So a #10 or #8 gage power and ground can be used. For details on installing the amp, review the owner/install manual for details. A brief install blurb can be found here: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-JywmrykMXFi/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=51000&id=detailed_info&i=204CS8A5 How many rear speakers do you have in this vehicle now? I am not sure if the 4 channel amps can be bridged to a more potent 2 channel version on this combo. The install manual should have that detail for you. Hummm, it really does not have much detail in the install manual: http://www.bazooka.com./pdf/current/CS8A5.pdf If you have more questions on what can and cannot be done with this model, contact Bazooka Technical for best info on this product. http://www.bazooka.com./contactUs.asp Swez texasxb on 11/27/2004 15:29:29 Thanks, great Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
