Wiring

Ok another question. If you guys get annoyed tell me now, haha.

Considering i have the 1500 watt 2 channel rockford or the 1000 watt mono Kenwood, how should i run the wiring to the Kicker Comp VR DVC 4 ohm sub ... i believe that means its 4 ohm a voice coil.

Should i run it series or parallel. And should i bridge it on the 2 channel or what?

Thanks as always guys.

You are learning something right?.... Not a bother as that is what we are here for.

If you only have 1 Comp VR DVC, and it is a 2/4/8 ohm version, wire it in parallel to the Kenwood MONO sub amp... if it can handle a 2 ohm load.

Did not state which Kenwood amp model you have or what size sub you are using here, so hard to say how much power the amp will put out to the Kicker sub.

To use the RF amp to full potential, need either a 4 ohm load and bridge it to MONO or have 2 ohms per channel. A pair of 2/4/8 ohm subs would be needed here or a very potent 1/2/4 ohm Competition sub for this amp.
