i am really debating on what to get here...cuz i skate and i almost changed my mind about getting a system..and get new blades...cuz i was told that i wouldnt hear much of a difference if i got a new system cuz i would only be able to tell it was louder from the spl meter...cuz with my 2 tens it pretty loud right now but....i dunno see if i did get a new system i have found what i want but my friend said my 2 10's (in the sealed box they're in now) would outbumb 1 PowerAcoustik FBX 12 in a ported box but...i dont see how i think the 12 would be alot louder and if i got that 1 12 also am getting a profile 600watt monoblock amp to push it soo what do ya'll think would it be loud enough for me not to be wishing i got new skates insted??

1 sub with more power and one sive bigger would be louder then in a ported box would make it alot louder i would think. if you like your system enough as is then go for skates but if you really wanted it louder then go for the system because it should be louder.

Go for the skates for now as you already have a pretty good setup. Winter's coming and why not enjoy the skates and put the car audio on hold for a while. What you have now seems pretty adequate to the task... hold off and enjoy your other hobby too. IMHO

Do you play ice hockey as well, or do you just skate? I played from the age of 6 until about 12... the travel team wanted me to join them, but I didn't want to. I really wish that I hadn't stopped playing though... fun sport.
