does anybody know how to remove the original factory installed ford focus cd player? or do they know any good sites to go to that will help you remove the cd player, that are free sites? i really need help with this. if anybody could help i would be sooooo happy

you need the removale keys first of all. little U shapped pieces of metal that release tabs and let the HU slide out. can be had at most autozone, pep boys, etc

yes very in my truck the trime around the stereo pops away and then the tools slide into the holes you can easily see. and you lightly press out and pull. and it well slide out.
some you can remove wihtout taking dash apart some you take molding off. others take some dismantaling. usualy fords are fairly easy. but i dont kno w how yours is.
the tool itself is like 4-6$

do the insturctions come with the actual tool. and will it work with every one or do you need a certain one for certain models?

used my same one in every Ford i have had from a 1993 ford probe to a 2003 ranger.......

now much to the instructions mine hysr came without any instruction. just insert the tool. then lightly press out ward and pull.. radio should slide out.

most dash asemblies on newer fords are pretty easy. however if you want picture by picture instructions get a repair manual chilton or haynes great info in them.
