i just ordered one of these for $176 it has a ssf and the thd at 4ohms is .05 not bad for the price i was just wondering if any had heard it before

lightwn audio makes some good above avergae gear they also make some real crap to... i could not find your amp when i looked. if you could give me a link to look at that would be great for a good review of the amp.
the only reason i would be leary of it is it would apear by the name to be a 1000watt amp and for the price thats extremly cheap.

its that cheap because it is refurbrished. But it does come with a 90 day warrenty from rockford fosgate. here is a duplicate site

Lightning is a sister company of Rockford Fosgate. The better parts of their line are actually pretty solid and well priced too.
That web seller seems to have a very good product line offering of new and refurbed RF, Lightning, MBQ, Hafler and a few other brands too. I did not know David Hafler products were part of RF Corp.???
A few very nice products in the site at very reasonable prices too.

ah ok knowing that its a refurb puts the price into perspective... i have bought a couple refurbs latly a amp for my car and a set of speakers for the wifes. both had a 30 and a 15 day warranty and both still work great several months later. i would say a 90 day warrant is wonderfull for a refurb. cances are any defect well go out withen a month or 2 well before warranty is up.
i would say you got a good deal on this amp and a good warranty.
