HIGH POWER ALTERNATORS....HELP!!

I am i need of some links to anywhere that high-power alternators can be found.
Anywhere from 150A to however big they get!!

I'm gonna be pulling 95% of my ES12P's rms rating and need a big amp. This is not an urgent matter, where as the entire installation of the amp and sub will not be happening for another couple months or so, i would like to get a good alternator ahead of time. My current ALT is doing fine with a little Coustic 801DB pushing 400watts@4ohms.

ANY LINKS OR SUGGESTIONS would be great.
My price range is from $200.00 to $400.00. FROWN

Thanks in advance!
Daniel Myers

i got my 200 amp alternator off ebay with a life time warrant for only 230$ shipped. great alternator fast shjipping. there are about 3 or 4 people/companies on ebay that sell alot of custom alternator. look for people listing over 50 alternators. then if they dont have your car make. email them adn ask them if they can get or build you one.. the guy i asked said np and had me one at my house withen a week.

I got my PowerMaster from summit, 200amper that fits in the stock location. There are alot of companies that produce the HO alts, soon im going to be purchasing a HO Mean-Green 300amp alternator (www.mean-green.com).

Also check around your local alternator rebuild shops, see if they can wind your stock alt up as high as they can and see how much they'd charge. The only thing that limits their ability to wind it higher is mainly the Case size. this option is a very good one as its alot cheaper to get one rewound than to buy a brand new one.

The quote for my rare application from Excessive Amerage was 260.00$, shipping included. Seems like a decent price, he said it can be built from 180-210A, whichever i want!

Anyone think of a better deal?
