hey guys i went to a couple of shows this past weekend and i was wondering how they do that crazy fiberglass stuff i am very willing to learn any ideas, books movies erbsites ext.. on the topic any help would be great Thanx Eric

Hey I saw that you posted a while ago without a response yet, so I thought I'd at least give you the link to the article they have on here about fiber:

I know only what I've learned here about fiber, but there's a lot of guys here that can help a lot.
There was a thread not too long ago on here about a video that powerlifter was using and a couple guys here thought that was really good info.

If you need help with your project, ill be more than happy to help you. Ive been working on my own fiberglass enclosure + a center consol all out of fiberglass and MDF and its turning out beautifully. Once its all finished and i get my pictures developed I'm going to be typing a tutorial with pictures on what was done, how much catalyst per quart of resin etc to help people out.

thanx guys this seems like a good start my basic thing is i dont know like how much of each item and would mainly like some sorta good video or DVD on it i tend to just try things till i get it right so i am not worried about messing up my truck or anything its my beater and ment for me to learn and hopefully make some sick enclosures and consels for friends ect that one site showed a video is it worth it ?? and also i found one on ebay what do you think of this

last question is were do i buy the materials is this like stuff i can pick up at home depot or a hardwear store ???

you can get fiberglass mat and resin at almost any hardware store, or boat supply store.
