They shipped them off today. I think I'm going to put them in a sealed box for now. I going to let a local car shop install it since it's a really nice car and I don't want to mess anything up on it. Once it's done I'll post some pics if you want to see it. 2 16 kv.2's with an Infinity 600 watt amp. It's just that my interior is in such a good condition, I would hate if I messed it up, but these guys will be paying for the fixing if they screw anything up(i.e leather interior, or carpetting). I could ezily do this one, it's a 1999 Grand Marquis LS and it's a aftermarket stereo already installed. UKinstaller on 11/10/2004 19:02:01 but you must ask yourself, how are you going to tear up your carpet and leather by running some wires?? grand marquis's are very easy to install on, the only trouble is that with those giant backseats/trunks, there is a huge back wall behind the back seat that you must run wires up that can be a huge pain in the butt, but other than that, you can't hurt anything. there is a grommet with existing wires next to the steering column thingie that you can use to run your wire through the firewall, the trim panels and kick panel pop up very easily, it is very easy to drop RCA's and remote on those cars, and like you said, you already have an aftermarket HU, so it's that much easier. if you have any type of experience whatsoever, i believe you can do this yourself. not only will you save $60, but you will get even more experience and self satisfaction. -UK Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
