Bumping capability

Before i comment on the subs i'm talking about
Audiobahn AW1251T.

Personally i think they are low end subs.what do yall think.

Two of these in a dual bandpass box.

With 100% of their RMS rating flowing to them, and in all reality, from 1 to 10, how good will these subs bump?

I know you geniuses will say something like "it can depend on how well the amp is supplying power" and stuff like that
: P

So, just forget all the technicalities for now, and rank the subs with "optimum" wired-up-ed-ness.

Was that a word? THINK

audiobahn is not low end equipment but they are what they are which is SPL bass machines no thought about sound quality in 90% of there subs just alot of bass.

In a band pass box built for the subs and 100% of there power to them they would be loud as hell..

howvere a bandpass for these subs would take up most your trucks cab i would think hehe.

BP enclosures are very tricky critters. If they are built to proper specifications of the sub and tuned correctly, they can be great "one note wonders". Very loud at a narrow, designated frequency of the ports.

In a truck, the problem most folks have, is very little cabin space. That means low "transfer function" (free cabin gain factor) assistance. So, the only way to overcome that aspect is pure, brute amp power.

I heard an S-10 PU (ext. cab) with a pair of RF HX2's 12's, in a 4-5 cubes vented enclosure, powered by by a HiFonics Brutus 1500D. It boomed deep and clean. Someone did a very good job on the install and product choices... but there was nothing low budget about this install.
