Thanks for your responses people.I have another ques:I don't have room for another sub.My amp is running at 8 ohms and speaker due to speaker being 8ohms bridged.I was thinking of putting a 8ohm resistor in parallel to sub i already have to get Max wattage out of amp and sub.Any ideas here?

Adding an 8 ohm resistor (in parallel) will increase power output from the amp, but no additional power to sub. The extra power will be lost to heat in the resistor.
