I need to find some cheap but good sound dampning material. Dynamat is way expensive and my Explorer is full of rattles.

I've heard good things about "Brown Bread". Supposed to be as good as Dynamat, but a lot chaeper.

I think that's what I'm going to get when I have more money to put into my truck.

I used brown bread as well and have had good luck with it. Now even the phoenix heat has hurt it after a year.

I have B-Quiet Extreme in my truck (BrownBread was on backorder). Either one works GREAT, And much cheaper than dynamat.

Also check out Edead from elemental designs. I also have their paint on E-Dead for my rear panels when i take them out.

On a friendly recommendation I used rolled roofing called Ice and Water Shield. Didn't work so well since it was not its designed intent.

I'm going to try Raamat www.raamaudio.com next time. I hear its great.

Has anybody here ever used or know anybody that has used Peel-N-Seal. It is again a roofing material, but the materials to make it is very very similar to dynamat etc, and it only cost like 12 bucks a roll. I've been thinking aobut trying this stuff but am wearing cause it is roofing material and i dunno how it will hold up in the heat of my cars interior in the summer.

the biggest problem you would probably encounter is the adhesive may fail in hot weather. Dynamat can also have this problem if not properly installed, leaving you with nothing as it falls off the panels you are trying to deaden......
