Adire vs Earthquake decision. Need advise

OK,

I'm looking to replace the old RF 12 I have in the back of my Blazer. I'm not looking to spend a lot, but would like the most SPL I can get.

I think I've narrowed it down to either the Earthquake DBX12, or the Adire Shiva 12. I will be putting either into a sealed box that is ~1.2 ft^3, and will eventually build one more to specs for whichever driver I end up with.

I am not necessarily tied to either of these, but from what I've read, it looks like these are my two best options within a decent price range.

Oh yeah, power will be coming from my Cadence A7HC, so neither will suffer, and it'll supply plenty of juice from 1 to 4 ohms, so configuration is not a huge deal either.

Unfortunately in my area, the only options I have to listen to are RF, Kicker, and the bottom end DEIs. We do have Best Buy, Circuit City, and Car Toys too, but I'm not to happy with the knowledge present at any of them.

Thanks for your guys' help.

Car Toys usually has some pretty good stuff, as well as the crappy stuff. sometimes you can get the guys to come down a lot on thier prices as they are pretty much purely based on commission and they need to sell something. the car toys by me sells eclipse, boston, and JL. thats about all i would buy from there other than the JVC HU that i just bought there a while ago. that was so stupid, my mom doesnt trust me on the new car,so she made me get it professionally installed. whatever, i got the other car to do wtv i want with.

but anyways, try looking at car toys, and if you cant find what you want there, i'd recommend the shivas, they are great subs, and dont have as much of the reliability issues that the brahma has.
