I've been thinking and was wondering why I should spend more money than I have to. I have a good Sony MP3 deck(car ready) and instead of buying a deck with MP3 how would it sound running the MP3 player into the deck via RCA cables? What kind of deck could I get that would have this technology (RCA inputs) with decent features at a good price? Thanks for the help.

many HU's have a front jack for pluging in CD, MP3 players ect. also you can get adaptors to turn the CD changer input into a rca input

we all started on that page. I remember not wanting to upgrade to cd since I could use a tape adaptor on my diskman. It is great, for about a week and then you are tired of the calbes, replacing batteries, having to hid the 2nd unit when you park only to have to pull it all out again. If you take the easy road it will be more expensive in the long run. Understand that you have been bit by the bug and it will be another decade before you can settle for something simple like a factory radio.
