Does this mean i cannot hook it up to my 2 and 4 ohm amp?

once again i'm just curious if i can hook this up, i have a lot of subs sitting around, my cousin competes and he gives me stuff all the time.

I have another noob question for yall -
i hook up my amp @2ohms, producing 800W rms
to two subs - 400W rms
Will each sub get 400 watts running to them.
or will they be overloaded and blow.
from what i know, it all has to do with whether you wire then bridged, series, or parallel.

i dont even know if the subs are DVC, just little cheapos i recently got for free from my cousin. came with an okay bandpass box. looks like a Made In China ripoff to me

what i want to do - get rid of the cheapo subs, put some nicer ones in it maybe. my question is - is that box even worth putting decent subs in? i noticed a lottttt of identical boxes being sold on ebay with cheapster subs in them.. let me know your opinions on that box.
in all and any case, all i care about is lowww hard hitting bass.

welcome with the noob questions, feel free to keep them comming.
if the subs you described in the 1rst post are the same as the link in the 2nd, then yes you can hook them up to your amp. You will need to do a series parallel wiring system, we can walk you through that.
If you have 2 subs with the same impedence(ohms) value, hooked up to an amp then yes they will share the same pwr.

You can run this Bahn sub at 3 ohms off a 2 ohm stable mono amp. The approximate power will be ~600 RMS @ 3 ohms.
