well i would rate the woofers you said in the following order..
PowerAcoustik FBX-15
MA Audio MA150D6
Kicker 03CVR154
JBL GT150D
yet i would suggest to go with 2 x12" woofers than a 15"...
ask other members especially the golds about their experience with the above products..

oh... i forgot to tell you one more thing..
the choice of the sub also depends a lot on what kinda AMP and ENCLOSURE you are going to use for the sub..

i do want a 15 and i have an 1800wt pyramid amp thats actually only pushing about 600wts but i want a ported box i like the Power Acoustic the most i think

i think u got sufficient power to run the sub.. and the PA sub would give satisfactory result..
regarding the enclosure.. here are the specs..build one accordingly and u will be able to push the sub to its best..
Volume of Ported box: 2 cu..ft.
Tuning: 35 Hz.
Port size: 3" (dia) x 12.5" (Length)
Number of ports: 2

ok.. i think you must be knowing how to calculate the value for stiffened cap for any given ystem.. yet.. to make it simpler.. gor every 500wrms... 0.5farad..
regarding brands.. Stinger and Power Acoustik are good ones.. i have used them personally.. so cant say much about other brands..
