umm... dont look too high quality from what i see. No real opions until i get my hands on 1 or two. Look flea market low-end from the pictures.

If you notice you see copycats of pioneers, kenwoods, audiobahns, volfenhags and a couple others.

chinnese, japaneese, korean.... make i would say 80% or more of the components in HU's and many speakers. no matter who makes the HU or what not many of the parts all come from the same place. so to say chinnese copy and bulk produce stuff cheap isnt realy true. they build most the components in those countries for most high tech things.

since they are already building the internal parts many of the then choose to build there own stuff in this case speakers(btw i agree these look cheap) but in general they decide since we are building the components for so and so why not build are own adn sell it. so is it a copy? they where the ones makeing the components they just went one step farther hehe.

not saying these dont look cheap just saying be careful alot of times these companies that come out of japan or china have some good stuff for cheaper.

It's not where it's built but, who engineered it! Check a lot of your "higher brands" and you will see a lot of them designed in the USA and built in another country with cheaper costs yet still up to specs.

When it all said and done it still is a premium product!

Interesting... just like the Japanese did many years ago. They reverse engineered many great US/Euro products and sold them for dirt cheap. Some were just that back than... cheap and dirty knockoffs.

But look how many Japanese companies have evolved. Today, they make most home and car audio electronics, many of the internal components and all of the highest quaity money can buy. They literally dominate TV, stereo, Car audio and small home appliances anso much more. I expect Taiwan, Honk Kong, China and other Pacific Rim counties to follow a similar path. Meaning... learning the business, automating production and making some very good gear at huge discounts. It's just a matter of time.

Besides, with labor rates so low there and so many people wanting to work for minimal wages, Pacific Rim countries will become a major player in world market niches.

Also look at brands like eclipse, who have now sold out. Fujitsu Ten made these. Eclipse made their way to the top, and are now selling crap. The 2005 line is junk!
sorry, had to vent.
