wana know whats the most popular cars for SQ and spl
and as most amrican cars has big ALTs which is an advantage for small installs and big too . but most other cars lika european and import cars they have weak alts .. so if it's not possiable to up grade or change the alts .
what's the best 2nd thing i can do to keep up the voltage high and no dimming without hurting my stock alt

if its severe dimming nothing but alt upgrade well fix it for minor dimming a high CCA battery wel help or cure it say 850CCA or more.
best SPL cars are bigger vehicle SUVs, hatchbacks, vans, Stationwagons, etc they have a a large cabin gain effect meaning you can gain 15-30db of volume from the gain effect of the lager area cars and suv's.
now for SQ any car well work that has room for it for pure SQ you dont need alot of room a single 10" sub can work in this application. with low wattage say 200-300watts. then 4 speakers with a modest amp say 80watts x 4 channel rms. biggest thing for SQ is placement of speakers for front its handy if you have room for kick pannels sounds great. alot of vehicles to choose from to make a great SQ vehicle.
