in the specs the power handling is 5000wrms.. and check out the inverted woofer in the pic.. its clearly written 1000...lol..

first i have heard one of these subs they sound like crap.... they are loud as crap but they absolutly sound horrible. no SQ value at all on a 1-10 scale they would be a 1 on quality of the sound. the one i saw had 3000watts running to it in a ported box i belive. the place that has it i refuse to goto anymore so it was about 2 years ago i heard it.
second the price is outragous it wasnt that loud hehe. for 5000$ you could build a way louder system. not to mention the box i belive was somehting like 20cubic feet that the sub was in... or damn near that.
Also i belive this sub can thermaly handle 5000watts i would assume it could reach Xmax way lower then that say 1000watts. the only reason this sub needs so much power is to mechanicaly move something that big is not easy eheh.
just my 2 cents is for the Money you could build a bass machine way better then this sub and you can easily find even the worse SQ 15 or 18 has better SQ then this sub by alot.
