i was just wondering if it will make a difference if i add 2 more 15inch compVRs to my system, the two i have now are located where my back seat was, removed the seat and mounted the subs, i want two more but they will have to go in my trunk, is this gonna be a noticable difference in bass, or is it a waste of time? do all 4 subs need to be located in the same area or does it not matter. also want to know if my 2 kx600.1s will power 4 15's. right now i have an amp running to each sub, and each sub is running at 4 ohms, so if i paralell them down to 2ohms and also run the other 2 15s at 2 ohms to the other amp will that be ok? the amps are 2 ohm stable but will the power be ok. i might be able to build another box to hold the 4 15s for my back seat but i had the box that i have now specially built for my back seat and it costed 175 dollars, so i dont want to just have it setting around because thats alot of money that i could have used to build the box for the 4 15s. id prefer to put the other 2 in the trunk. sorry to ramble on but im tryin to be as clear as possible. thanx alot guys.---- or would it be louder if i added 3 12s instead of 2 15s. i can wire them down to 2.67? i think. what does that amp se that as. 2 ohms? or does it read it as 2.67. not too familiar with all that techinal jargin/

Well, you are getting very serious about high SPL bass here CompVR...

Yes, you can add a 2nd set of subs in the truck is you wish and just split the amps... one to each box at 2 ohms per sub. That's ~300 watts RMS per sub... not bad and if you have the space in your trunk, consider going for a ported design here.

In fact, a 4.0 -5.0 cf ported enclosure with a single Comp VR 15 (DVC 2/4/8 ohm) will add some nice deep bass to your system. The larger the box, the more low bass you can anticipate.

If you went with a dual 15 setup, huge box and need lots of trunk space too... 8-10 cf here. Here, the 1/2/4 ohm version subs are needed to hit 2 ohms.

Say more and we'll kick around your options...
