Not to dispute your likes but, what kind was in the fronts?

not going to get good sound quality from 6x9's in the rear for under 100$. 6x9's are very limited to begin with the whole desing makes them not great sound quality.

and its alot easier to get good sound quality from a good set of front speakers.

however if you want only rear speakers i suggest getting a set of 6.5 inch round speakers 2 ways and mounting them in the back where the 6x9's are now. alpine, CDT, focal, and many moer all make fine speakers. not only well 6.5's sound way better but they are alot cheaper too.

Lanzar makes/made a sweet sounding coaxial sertes. The VB69.2 are a nice set that are pretty inexpensive. I had a chance to audition some and they will rival a lot of higher brands. Just make sure they are the older VB series. The newer VX's aren't up to spec as far as quality and value go.

You should be able to find them online though they are no longer in production. If they will fit your dash you might want to try the 3.5's (VB3.2) of the same series also.

well.. i would personally opt for a 6.5" component set.. but if you want to get a bit louder(_ cause 6" x 9" have larger cone area) you could go for the pioneer yellow amarid fibre cone 6" x 9" the model number is something like 690 R .. they are the best bass giving 6" x 9" i have personally ever seen.. check em out..

so many components to choose so little time. the big boys in this field would be CDT, focal, MB quart, diamond, jl..

phoenix gold and MA audio also make good compoennets. if i had to chooce one i would either get a Set of MA audio components or CDT's both can be have sets between 50-150$ the cdt CL-61a are what we usualy recomend they perform like a speaker in the 300-500$ range and are on sale for just 149$ shipped. they are only cheap because the paint on this batch was the wrong color so they put them on clearance.

i also was able to find my friend a set of MA Audio components and they where extremly good we found them on sale at a local store for 100$ and they where great. even for metal dome tweeters which i normaly dont car for these where excepetionaly good sounding for the money.
