hey there guys, i've been absent from the forum for a few days for a couple reasons. for one, i was grounded from the computer for a while cuz of my ticket. which i also ended up selling my 3 10w0s to pay for. hehehe, i got 225 for them and i only payed 175 for them, so i kept the xtra 50 bucks. GRIN so now i've saved up 150 and im buying a couple 12s in box from my cousin tomorrow, i've missed my bass for a long time and i'm looking forward to it. as for not being on the computer the past week. i've been spending some time with my girlfriend and my friends, playin some games, stuff like that...just relaxin cuz its finally summer. i have a job interview on wednesday so hopefully i will get the job. once i get a job i'll finally have enough cash flow again to finish my fatmatting of the car and get a new HU.

just thought i'd give you guys an update and some information on why i havent been posting lately

well im back GRIN

later guys COFFEE

Atta boy Blitz,

First things first and that ticket will be a good reminder to go easy on the streets and use your hard earned cash to other things too.

Good luck on your job interview too! Just be yourself and all will be as it should be.

yeah, the job interview went okay, i will hopefully get a reply in the next few days. and i just went to court today for the ticket and got a deferral. all i gotta do now is just remember i cant get a ticket within the next year, for anything or else im screwed and my license will probably get suspended. so im a slow driver now, and if ppl dont like it, screw em. haha, i dont need to screw up my social life any more.

Wise move and a generous judge too... be smart as you drive... don't have to prove anything except that you can keep a clean driving record.

PS Does that mean you only had to pay the ticket or no ticky, no washy?

it means that i have to pay 100 dollars set fee right now, out of the ticket that was 162. if i get another ticket. i have to pay the speeding ticket from before, the new ticket, and im out 100 bucks from the deferral fee, so i better be hella careful for the next year.

There ya go... you did get a break from the judge so use it well and count your blessings. It could have gone worse.

well, about those 2 new subs that i got, the w3s, i bought them from my cousin, and they are in a bandpass box. lemme just tell ya, i thought bandpass was okay from listening to other setups of friends and such, but after owning one, i hate it. i absoluetly hate it. i need to make a ported box or something, this bandpass crap is pissin me off, lol.

thx

Yeah, BP is a tricky animal to tame. If all one wants is earslittin-loudenboomin, BP will give you that. But if ou want quality low end bass, sealed or a well designed ported enclosure is definitely a better option.

BP can be very useful at producing HIGH SPL in a narrow band of frequencies and good for SPL Competition.... but a lot of careful research and design work has to be done, to make a great sounding BP enclosure.

PS What subs did you get this time and what amp are you running them with?
