My friend LC1 was on here earlier in the week asking about my problem wiht my my car. this is the link to the post:

He didnt get any responces to what could be wrong, and I am kinda stumped on what happend, so if anyone has any thoughts on what it could be that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ryan,
Jay didnt get a whole lot of responses probably because this kinda probelm is not very common it seems. The only thing that i can figure is that there is a short somewhere behind the dash, whether it be due to the fact that a wire was left bare and no insulated,,,or quite possibly when the dash was installed again with the deck that it could have pinched a wire and created a short.
Either way, personally im not so sure this is a "fluke" issue. Id suggest traking the wires and finding where the short happend or where the problem began. If your not comfortable with that..i really suggest taking it to a mechanic or the dealership to have them troubleshoot it.
