Hey guys.. i really need your help.. i am planning to take the dealership of "BLAUPUNKT". Is it worth it?... i dont mean the money part.. but i wanna know the product quality compared to other brands.. Will the "BLAUPUNKT" products sell? Replies (4) uochronos on 10/16/2004 12:10:40 blaupunkt used to be really big in the 70's and early 80's. there stuff is by no means crap usualy. but its not the greatest. plenty of better brands out there... alpine, pioneer, eclipse, kenwood, rockford fosgate, jvc, clarion. i would say all of those are better then blaupunkt. i also havent had alot of dealing with there stuff so they might have some higher end stuff i have never seen. ttocs, swez, and cpkittle can probaly tell you more. Chronos swez on 10/17/2004 11:04:48 They have a market. Some of the Blau's are pretty good products and low prices too. The only thing I remember about Blau that is negative, they use non-standard harness hardware in most products. Especially patch cables to outboard amps, Aux inputs and CD changers. Other than that, pretty good features at below market prices when compared to Alpine, Pioneer and other bigger name brands, Swez Victor on 10/17/2004 11:09:26 thanks a lot for ur guidance,,, but i also need to know that what is blau's feild of expertise .. is it head units.. amps.. dsp's.. components.. coaxials.. etc.. uochronos on 10/17/2004 16:57:58 they make good head units although usualy too much flash and not enough usefull stuff compared to the big boys in that field such as pioneer, alpine, eclipse, etc. never used or even really seen an amp by them so i'm not real sure. and they make ok speakers they arent great but for the price are usualy ok. all in all not a bad company just not real popular anymore and because of that you dont see alot of there high end stuff.
