Is there any easy way to do this? I'm pretty sure my head unit doesn't have an input option so can I hook it through my amps?
Right now I'm using an FM transmitter and I can't get good sound quality. I rarely get decent sound quality. I was just wondering if there was a way I could do it with better results.

several options here not all great Sound quality though.
the fm modulater such as you are using
and input with you said you dont have
if you have a spot to hook up a CD changer you can get a device that turns that into an input set up
there are a few others i belive but these are the ones i'm most familar with.

The most effective way to get high quality sound is to either buy a HU that can play MP3's or get a HU with an Aux Input option. As you already know, RF transmitters are not for high quality sound transfer. FM circuits have low bandwith capabilty only. So, your over all sound quality (SQ) is no better than FM radio reception will allow.
