can not see EL Backlighting DEH-46 in the day or when sun hit the display only at night u can see the display can i increse the brightness of EL Backlighting ?

the only way that I can think of, is to hook up the illumination wire to the ignition switched and it should light up a little brighter during the day. Otherwise I do not know of any way to make it brighter.

i know on my pioneer cd player with the animated display, you could change the brightness from like -10 to +10. the cd player had to be off and had to hit one of the menu buttons and it brought up a bunch of settings like the clock, the beep when ya shut the car off and the illumination. might want to check the manual or look online for it
